3 pulis Las Piñas, kinasuhan ng robbery

SINAMPAHAN kahapon ng pulisya ng kasong pagnanakaw ang tatlong kagawad ng Las Piñas police dahil sa umano’y pagtangay ng malaking halaga ng salapi at cellphone sa loob ng bahay na kanilang sinalakay noong Sabado ng gabi sa Pasay city.
Ibinatay ni PO3 Rodolfo Suquina Jr., imbestigador ng Pasay Police Investigation Division, ang paghahain ng kaso sa Pasay City Prosecutors Office laban kay PO1 Leonardo Angio at dalawa pa niyang kasamahang pulis na hindi pa nakikilala sa reklamo ng 56-anyos na biyuda na naninirahan sa pinasok nilang bahay sa Block 4, Lot 8, Saint Rita St. Bgy. Maricaban, dakong alas-11:30 ng gabi noong Sabado.
Ayon sa salaysay ng biyudang si Maria Rebalde, nasa loob siya ng kanyang inuupahang silid nang makarinig siya ng kaguluhan sa labas sanhi ng ginawang pagsalakay ng pulisya sa hinihinalang lungga ng mga drug pushers sa kanilang lugar.
Sa takot na madamay, ikinandado ni Rebalde ang kanyang inuupahang silid at nang papalabas na siya ng bahay ay nasalubong pa niya si Angio na umano’y dating pulis-Pasay, kasama ang dalawa pang nakasibilyang pulis na kapuwa may hawak na baril na pumasok at umakyat sa kabahayan.
Sinabi ni Rebalde na pinuntahan din siya ng kanyang anak na si Maricel, 29, nakatira sa 837-B I. Santos St. Malibay, nang mabalitaan ang kaguluhan sa kanilang lugar at nakita nito ang ginawang pagwasak nina Angio sa kandado ng inuupahan niyang silid.
Matapos ang pagsalakay, natuklasan ni Rebalde na nawawala ang P25,000 cash at P17,000 na halaga ng cellphone na ipinadala sa kanya ng anak na nagtatrabaho sa Japan. Edd Reye

Cops tighten security on oil firms headquarters in southern Metro Manila

Southern Police District deputy head Senior Superintendent Federico Castro ordered at least 200 police personnel to guard the offices of Shell, Chevron and Petron, radio dzBB’s Sam Nielsen reported.
Castro said that while organizers claimed they would picket only the office of Petron, he does not want to take chances of lightning rallies at other oil firms’ headquarters.
He said he has also ordered his personnel to keep watch over routes in southern Metro Manila that may be affected by Thursday’s protest.
These include jeep routes in Alabang, Las Piñas, Parañaque and Muntinlupa Cities, he said.
Militant groups had planned a protest caravan against high fuel prices for Thursday. The caravan was to start at the Quezon City Memorial Circle and proceed to Makati City.
Other activities include:
- A “kuliglig” (improvised tricycle) parade in Manila
- A lantern-flying parade in Caloocan City at 4:30 p.m.
- A noise barrage at the Pandacan oil depot and markets in Metro Manila including Trabajo and Divisoria. Noise barrages are also scheduled at Marikina Bridge and Caloocan City; and in San Juan City.
But Endriga stressed city employees will have to report for work.
“Kailangan kami mag-abala, magmo-monitor kami at tutulong sa ating mga kababayan,” he said in an interview on dzBB radio. — LBG, GMA News

Are cars with Friendship Route stickers exempted from number coding in LP?

Sorry Las Pineros. That little sticker on your car does not exempt you from the Las Pinas Number Coding.
This is according to Las Pinas City Police Chief Sr. Supt. Romeo Sapitula’s office belying hearsay that having the 2011 Friendship Route sticker exempts motorists from the number coding in the city.
“The sticker can only give access to participating villages/subdivisions,” said Sapitula’s office.
And yes, Las Pinas has its own number coding ordinance apart from the one MMDA does.

So there. Stick to the village roads when your car is not allowed to go out on the main roads of the city.
Oh, the Daang Hari (portion of Las Pinas) and the part from Toyota Alabang to Daang Hari (Honda) implements this number coding too.

Ramona Revilla in the custody of half-brother Sen. Bong?

Maria Ramona Bautista, one of the primary suspects in the murder of Ramgen Revilla, is in the custody of her half-brother Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla.
This is according to a police official.
Ramgen and Ramona are children of former senator-actor Ramon Revilla, Sr. with Genelyn Magsaysay.
In an updated report by ABS-CBN News, Las Piñas chief police Senior Superindent Romulo Sapitulan states that the senator had asked permission from authorities to take Ramona to the hospital for a check-up following the trauma of her brother Ramgen’s murder.
The night Ram was murdered, Ramona was reportedly kidnapped and dropped off at the Star Mall in Las Piñas.
But after the initial investigation, Ramona was tagged as a suspect in the case, and police said she had made up the story that she had been kidnapped.
The police conceded to the politician-actor’s request because at the time he asked for permission, Ramona was not yet a suspect in the slaying of Ram.
Meanwhile, Chief Inspector Enrique Sy, head of Task Force Ramgen, says the Paranaque police was informed by a “Mr. Olivar,” the incumbent senator’s executive assistant, that Senator Bong had taken custody of Ramona.
Sy adds that he later requested Senator Bong to turn over Ramona, 20, and Ramon Joseph “RJ” Bautista, 18— allegedly the mastermind of his brother’s slaying— to the police for questioning.
To date, Sy says that there has been no response yet.
Authorities have yet to speak to Ramona who, according to Parañaque chief police Sr. Supt. Billy Beltran, is “in hiding.”
The crime took place in Ramgen’s home in Phase 6, BF Homes, Parañaque City, where the 23-year-old actor was shot and stabbed.
Janelle Manahan, Ramgen’s girlfriend, was also shot but is recuperating at the Asian Hospital in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.

kailangan po ata na ibayong pag iingat at dagdag na security sa kanilang lugar kung maaaring palitan na ang chairman sa kanilang baranggay dahil wala namang silbi din. maraming salamat po.
