3 busted for shabu in Taguig, Parañaque

THREE men were arrested in separate drug-bust operations in a high-end club of Bonifacio Global City (BCG) and a posh condominium the other day in Taguig and Parañaque cities.
Supt. Jenny Tecson, spokesperson of Southern Police District (SPD), identified the suspect arrested in Pool Club in BGC as Amos Apostol, 28, single, of 1124 Kabukiran Homes Tiaong, Guiguinto, Bulacan.
Tecson said Apostol was apprehended by Orlando Silidio and Michael Evite, security guard and bouncer, respectively, of the said club for possession of a plastic sachet containing suspected party drug known as Ecstasy.
The suspect was turned over to PO1s Bronson Wayan and James Crabuena of Police Community Precinct 7 in BGC for the filing of proper charges.
In Parañaque, James Castro, 23, alias James, and Edward Pendon, 23, both jobless were arrested in a buy-bust operation at 3:30 a.m. inside Unit 2F Complex B, 2nd floor, 43 St. Anthony Residences on Quirino Avenue, Bgy. Tambo.
Police said nine plastic sachets containing shabu, two P1,000 bills and a pair of scissors were recovered from the suspects after they were arrested by operatives of District Anti-Illegal Drugs-Special Operation Task Group (DAID-SOTG).
Police said the suspects were facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
