The local government of Muntinlupa, in coordination with Department of Labor and Employment, distributed start-up packages for livelihood to 52 families last August 9 at Muntinlupa City Hall, Brgy. Putatan. Muntinlupa Mayor Jaime Fresnedi and DOLE MUNTAPARLAS Field Director Nepomuceno Leaño II led the turn-over of grocery packages worth P5,000 to beneficiaries of “Unlad Kabuhayan Laban sa Kahirapan” as part of the local livelihood program facilitated by Muntinlupa Public Employment Service Office. As part of its flagship programs, the City Government provides opportunities to low-income entrepreneurs through livelihood projects.
