Acacia gives back with 2nd Year of Create A Smile: Toy Drive

Manila, November 21, 2013… Christmas is a time of giving and seeing smiles on children’s faces. Fresh from its success of its first year, Acacia Hotel Manila is launching its 2^nd year of Create A Smile Toy Drive. In 2012, the hotel was successful in collecting 1600 toys which were donated to Springboard Foundation. To officially turnover the toys, a special Christmas Breakfast was held with the beneficiaries and the generous donors.

This year, this special project aims to collect more toys to be given to the children of My Father’s House and the Virlanie Foundation. Both are non-profit organizations that provide abandoned, neglected, and orphaned children a safe haven to grow up in. The hotel will accept unwrapped old or new toys from December 1 to 21, 2013. All donors are asked to bring their donations to the Gingerbread House at The Lobby for proper acknowledgement. To further entice participation in this project, the first 200 donors who will donate a minimum of two (2) toys each with a total retail value of at least PHP300 will be treated to a Christmas buffet breakfast on December 21, 2013 at the Sequoia Ballroom from 8AM to 10AM.
