Alabang Hills villager dies after falling in Vivere Hotel

MANILA, Philippine – A commercial pilot died after falling from the 29th floor of Vivere Hotel in Alabang, Muntinlupa City on Friday morning.

Police identified the fatality as Anton Miguel Osmeña, 30, a commercial pilot of Alabang Hills.

Police said that Osmeña fell from his room’s veranda. His body was found on the hotel’s fourth floor.

Initial reports said that the victim checked in at the hotel at 4 a.m.

Police have yet to determine if Osmeña committed suicide.

Crime scene investigators failed to find a suicide note from the victim’s room.

Police also found out that the victim had no companion and he informed the hotel’s desk that he would not accept any visitor.

In October last year, the 20-year-old nephew of Senator Teofisto Guingona III also died after jumping from the 31st floor of the same hotel.

The victim, Martin Guingona-Lamb, was a student of De La Salle University and resident of Magallanes Village in Makati city.
