Muntinlupa Mayor Jaime Fresnedi poses with students in the conduct of the State of the Children’s Address on November 16 at Muntinlupa City Hall Quadrangle, Putatan. Fresnedi reported significant improvement in health metrics with having below 1% malnutrition in Muntinlupa, growing number of scholars to over 48,000 beneficiaries, zero cases on child labor, and strengthening of child participation in local governance, among others. 800 students enjoyed a carnival-theme party in the event and received different goods. Muntinlupa City has been adjudged the Most Child-Friendly City on 2017 and the region’s contender for last year’s Presidential Child-Friendly City Awards.
