City-wide installation of CCTV’s in Muntinlupa eyed

“It’s about time.”

This was the unanimous sigh of relief expressed by many Muntinlupenos as news came out this week that city Mayor Jaime Fresnedi met with officials of PLDT Alpha to talk about the implementation of a city-wide CCTV system.

To further curb crimes within the city and further improve on the peace and order situation, Fresnedi and other City Hall officials met with PLDT to discuss the proposal.

“This is also part of the city’s disaster management efforts,” said the official Muntinlupa Facebook Page, discussing the meeting.

Muntinlupa residents are hoping the project will be approved as soon as possible as “this will make us feel safer in our homes”, added one resident.
