CPMEC bloodletting slated for Aug. 12

As part of it ongoing commitment to help the community, the City of Parañaque Multi-purpose Employees’ Cooperative (CPMEC) will hold a bloodletting activity on August 12, 2011 from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Assessor’s Lounge in City Hall.

This is the 10th bloodletting organized by the CPMEC. It is intended as a contribution to the national effort to establish an adequate supply of blood which is vital in saving lives.

Providing support to CPMEC are the City Gov’t of Paranaque under the administration of Mayor Jun Bernabe, Parañaque City Health Office headed by Dr. Olga Virtusio and the Las Piñas General Hospital.

“More blood donations mean more lives saved. I urge CPMEC members, residents and other concerned citizens to contribute to the effort in aid of others in need.”, P’que Mayor Jun Bernabe said.

Donors are requested to register in advance at the CPMEC office  at the VCG Building, San Pancrasio cor. San Vicente Ferrer Sts., SAV I Brgy. San Antonio. Telephone inquiries can be made at 820-5963.
