Daanghari pothole claims another victim; Motorist calls on Las Piñas government to take action
This may be the understatement of the year but Daanghari Road has been one of the most notorious roads in the south when it comes to safety AND security.
This as another motorist narrated how her tire got damaged by a deep pothole along Daanghari a couple of days ago.
In her message to us, the victim said she was on her way home at around 11:30pm when her car’s right front tire exploded after passing by the pothole.
“May sobrang lalim na lubak kaya nabutas gulong sa lakas ng impact,” she explained.
She said the deep pothole is located before the GCF building or near Ayala Southvale Village (after the stoplight) by the right side of the road.
When asked how fast she was going, the victim (who requested anonymity) said she was just going at around 30 kph since it was raining too.
She also said that she had also heard of three other victims of the same pothole.
To make matters worse, she also witnessed a shooting near where the accident happened.
She was lucky that there was a nearby gas station so she was assisted by the gas boys there.
“Calling the attention of City of Las Pinas. Paki-ayos naman po yung side na yan sa Daanghari. Sobrang delikado. Madami na nabibiktima, halos every night may nabubutasan ng gulong. Nireklamo na daw ito before but still no response,” appealed the victim.
They were just thankful that nobody got hurt during this incident.
Hopefully, the concerned authorities do not wait for something even worse to happen before the pothole is fixed.
If this happens to you and there is no gas station nearby, don’t hesitate to call 541-9999 for beepbeep.ph‘s road side assistance.
