DTI sells NFA rice in Muntinlupa

The Department of Trade and Industry – Fair Trade and Enforcement Bureau rolls out the Tulong sa Bayan Suking Outlet to provide NFA rice pegged at 27 pesos per kilo in Muntinlupa City. Local government employees and residents troop in the caravan to buy affordable rice. 100 sacks of rice are sold out in the caravan within two hours. Muntinlupa Mayor Jaime Fresnedi says the local government will continue to coordinate with the national agencies to deliver affordable basic commodities for locals. DTI’s Suking Outlet is set to sell NFA rice to Brgy. Sucat and NHA Southville 3, Brgy. Poblacion on October 1-2, respectively.
