Filinvest completes 12th BPO center in Alabang

Listed property developer Filinvest Land Inc. (FLI) announced Wednesday that it finished building its 12th business process outsourcing facility and broke ground on its 13th BPO center.

The two projects add 38,000 square meters of gross leasable area to the FLI portfolio.

The Vector Two facility in Northgate Cyberzone in Filinvest Corporate City in Muntinlupa is expected to start contributing to FLI revenues by January next year.

More than 90 percent of the leasable space in Vector Two is already taken up and being turned over to tenants.

The 13th BPO office building in Northgate Cyberzone would be finished in 2013. It is 20 stories high at the corner of the Alabang-Zapote Road and Northgate Avenue.

Being finalized are plans for the 12-storey “Plaz@ E” which would have leasable area of 13,000 sqm. Completion date is late 2013 or early 2014.

FLI also disclosed that its 10,000 sqm, five-story Filinvest Building along EDSA in Mandaluyong is in full swing.

The property developer said it has 3,500 square meters of office space in its Grand Cenia Condotel and Residences, right across the Cebu Business  Park in Cebu City.

“Upon the completion of all these projects, FLI will have one of the biggest BPO office portfolios in the country at 258,000 sqm of gross floor area, a 43 percent increase from its end-2010 level,” it said. — CMA/ELR/VS, GMA News
