Housing program for Paranaque City employees!

Wow, this is great!

Good news for Parañaque City Government employees! The administration of City Mayor Florencio Bernabe, Jr. will soon launch a housing development program for city hall personnel.

The program will give them an opportunity to have their own homes at affordable prices and terms.

Program implementation will be handled by the Local Housing Development Office (LHDO) headed by Engr. Oscar Fernandez and Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) under Mr. Dean Calleja in partnership with the Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-I.B.I.G.) and Mañosa Properties.

“Every employee dreams of having his/her own home and we aim to make their aspirations come true.”, Mayor Bernabe said.

A parcel of land with an area of 19,232 square meters along Sto. Domingo St. in San Antonio Valley 10 has been earmarked for the project.

It was recently acquired by the city government from Mr. Manuel Guerrero for plans to build 272 housing units for city employees.

To qualify, applicants must be/have:

1)Parañaque City Government employee and a bona fide resident of the city;

2)Regular and Casual employees only;

3)Able to pay the monthly amortization of P4,500-5,500;

4)Take home pay must be a minimum of P5,500;

5)Updated Pag-IBIG contribution; and

In a related development, this LGU has implemented numerous socialized housing projects for the poor residents of the city.

The program is going well with the support of the National Housing Authority, Gawad Kalinga, well-meaning corporations and NGOs.

At present, the city government has 30 GK Villages to its credit. This is the second best number in the National Capital Region.
