Muntinlupa railway near fault line
MANILA, Philippines – Philippine National Railways (PNR) conducted a safety inspection on the railways in Putatan, Muntinlupa City.
PNR Road Foreman Dominador Velasquez said that the particular railway is prone to accidents because it sits near the Muntinlupa fault line.
The area is also known to flood, which makes the railway more dangerous.
Velasquez said that the PNR is closely monitoring the Putatan railway to ensure passenger safety.
Aside from this, PNR made efforts to make the railway more stable.
