One of Las Piñas’ ‘most wanted’ nabbed

MANILA, Philippines – One of the “most wanted” persons in Las Piñas City was arrested by police in Barangay CAA on Wednesday morning.

Police said the suspect, Walter Paragas, was arrested by virtue of an arrest warrant issued by Regional Trial Court Branch 253 Judge Salvador Timbang Jr.

Paragas has 2 standing arrest warrants for robbery, both allegedly committed in 2006.

Police said the suspect, who is tagged as the 8th “most wanted” person in Las Piñas, is accused of robbing Wil-Mar rice store and EVG grocery.

He is now detained at the Las Piñas City police jail pending further orders from the court.
