Paranaque business owners set to meet

The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry-Parañaque Chapter headed by its President Mr. Alex Flores, in coordination with the City Government of Parañaque will hold its 6th Parañaque Business Conference on March 16, 2012.

Said conference is a highly anticipated event which happens yearly in the country’s “Most Promising City” that is Parañaque.

The Parañaque LGU under the administration of Mayor Florencio Bernabe, Jr. received various business related awards, among them the 2012 Special Partnership Award given by Maynilad Water Services Inc. for encouraging, enabling and establishing utmost growth in Maynilad service coverage in Parañaque City; 2009 Bureau of Local Government Finance citation as No. 1 in revenue collection among LGUs in the National Capital Region; 2007 Phil. Cities Competitiveness Ranking Project-Asian Inst. of Management (PCCRP-AIM) citation as No. 6 in the “Top Metro Cities” category and 2006 Phil. Chamber of Commerce and Industry Fiscal Management Award.

Businessmen from local chambers in the South and nearby cities will converge at the Forum Hall of PAGCOR-Airport Casino Filipino in Parañaque to listen to a select line-up of guest speakers who will share their thoughts and insights on the global perspective, whether it will be growth or decline for the global economy, hence the conference theme “2012: Boom or Doom?”.
