Paranaque “Pamaskong Handog 2010” launched

As the holiday season goes in full swing, the Parañaque City Government under the leadership of Mayor Florencio Bernabe, Jr. launched the 2010 edition of its “Pamaskong Handog” on Friday, December 10, 2010.

“Pamaskong Handog” is a yearly activity where the city government distributes groceries to the less-fortunate residents of the city as a means of sharing the blessings of the season.

Apart from spreading the spirit of Christmas, the activity is also an opportunity for Mayor Jun Bernabe to meet his constituents and talk with them regarding their service needs, views and concerns on important issues and developments in the city.

The project is under the joint supervision of the Mayor’s Office, Parañaque DSWD under Mr. Dean Calleja and the Office of the Secretariat headed by Ms. Liberty Florendo.

City employees will likewise receive their Christmas basket consisting of assorted foodstuffs such as rice, ham, noodles, cheese and coffee, among others.
