Philam Village warns of thieves pretending to be friends of villagers and as household helpers; Posts photos of two recent suspects
The Philam Village Homeowners Association recently came out with a circular warning its villagers to not easily trust individuals pretending to apply as house maids or even pretending to be friends with other villagers.
They issued two photos of individuals who were recently caught by their security personnel.
The male suspect was caught breaking into a house at around 4am last Oct. 12.
“The resident sensed the thief’s presence inside their property and immediately notified our security force,” said the PVHA circular, adding that the man claimed to have friends inside the village.
According to PVHA, he is also now a suspect in other break-ins that happened days apart in the Las Pinas village.
Pretending to be a household helper
Sometime in August, the woman above applied as a household helper then quickly stole cash and other items from her new employer right after she was hired.
They then called on their residents to be more cautious in who they hire and befriend and also to be extra vigilant especially now that the Holidays are here.
