P’que policemen lauded
In recognition of their diligence and dedication to duty leading to gains in the battle against criminality, the Parañaque City Government under the leadership of Mayor Florencio Bernabe, Jr. commended 26 police officers of the Parañaque PNP in appropriate ceremonies at the P’que City Hall.
PSInsp Roque Tome, PO3 Edwin Plopinio, PO3 Fernan Acbang, PO1 Rolly Burgos, SPO4 Alberto Sangalang, PO3 Eric Sarino, PO2 Domingo Julaton and PO1 Elbert Ocampo were cited for the arrest and prosecution in court for violation of the Dangerous Drug Act of 2002 of Enrique Cudia and Buenafe Madrid under Criminal Cases no. 09-0968 and 09-0970 respectively which resulted to the punitive measure of life imprisonment. Also arrested was Lopet Santos on account of Criminal Case no. 09-1237 which resulted in a penalty of 12 years imprisonment.
Recognized for the apprehension of Parañaque’s No. 7 Most Wanted Toto Resterio who has a standing warrant of arrest for robbery with homicide under Criminal Case No. 11-0187 were PCInsp Enrique Sy, SPO2 Sergio Antonino, PO3 Regalado Adriatico, PO3 Rolando Gelacio, PO2 Micheal Bodegas, PO2 Danilo Bautista, PCInsp Michael Chavez, PO3 Raymundo Gabriel, PO3 Herbert Paus, PO3 Ariel Ilagan and PO2 Cesarie Soquina.
Host LGU also commended PCInsp Enrique Sy, PCinsp Michael Chavez, SPO4 Charlie Bayoca, SPO4 Rogelio Legaspi, SPO2 Juan Joe de la Torre, PO3 Regalado Adriatico, PO3 Raymundo Gabriel, PO3 Herbert Paus, PO3 Ferdinand Ramos, PO2 Ryan Buccat, PO2 Robert Dan Vasquez, PO2 Rommy Brezuela and PO2 Danilo Bautista for the arrest of Gapos Gang member and robbery-hold-up suspect Ronald Adrales.
Mayor Jun Bernabe and P’que Police Chief P/Sr. Supt. Nestor Pastoral also presented a posthumous award for PO3 Maphilindo Prades who was traitorously killed during an illegal vendor clearing operation in Brgy. Baclaran, this city in May this year to the slain cop’s widow, Mrs. Rosario Prades.

As we exhort our policemen to continue their diligence and dedication to duty, we in City Government of Parañaque reaffirm our commitment to continue to provide support to further enhance the capability of the Parañaque PNP.”, Mayor Jun Bernabe said.
The administration of Mayor Jun Bernabe has been supporting the local police with donations of patrol cars, motorcycles, communication equipment, computers, arms and ammunition and closed-circuit television (CCTV).
