Residents complain of rowdy ‘solvent boys’ in Paranaque

MANILA – The presence of unruly teenage boys in Barangay San Dionisio in Parañaque City, especially during wee hours, is becoming a problem for the community.

The teenage boys, whom residents claim are usually seen inhaling solvents such as high-strength adhesive “rugby” and sealant, are also involve in riots and are being blamed for the rise of petty crime incidents in the area.

ABS-CBN News team captured a group of teenage boys carrying hard objects, allegedly used as weapons against rival groups. The group immediately ran away upon seeing the news team.

Two minors were later apprehended after a scuffle between rival groups erupted. – report from Jerome Lantin, ABS-CBN News
