Robbery suspect in Munti arrested; Got inside the house via the roof

Scary.

Muntinlupa police this weekend arrested 18-year-old Mark Jay Atun (alias Eugene), the suspect in a home invasion in Putatan, Muntinlupa.

Atun, a resident of Planas Ville in Tunasan, Muntinlupa allegedly broke into the house of victim Emelito Estaban from the  ceiling of the house by making a hole on the roof.

The suspect was armed with a kitchen knife but was spotted by the homeowner.

A scuffle took place which led to the escape of the suspect.

Estaban immediately reported the incident to Barangay Putatan personnel and the suspect was caught in a follow up operation by Muntinlupa police.

The lost cellphone worth P5,000 was recovered from the suspect together with the kitchen knife.

Atun was brought to Ospital ng Muntinlupa for medical examination then to the Criminal Investigation Unit where formal charges where filed.
