Rotary Homes Foundation Fun Run slated

The Rotary Homes Foundation of the Rotary International District 3830 will host a fun run activity on March 13, 2011, starting at 5:30 A.M. at the Filinvest Corporate City in Brgy. Alabang , Muntinlupa City.
 
     Dubbed as “Home Run for Rotary Homes”, the activity is an effort to build up the funds for the socialized housing project it runs in partnership with the CFC ANCOP Tekton Foundation Inc., Gawad Kalinga, Parañaque City Government and Save the Parañaque River Foundation. 
 
      The project aims to build decent homes for the relocation of 1,500 poor families who are living in makeshift houses along the banks of the Parañaque River (Ilog Palanyag) which is classified as a “danger zone”.
     Rotary International District No. 3830 is under the leadership of Gov. Eduardo Alvarez. Rotary Homes Foundation, Inc. Board of Trustees is composed of IPDG Sid Garcia (Chairman); PP Sally Tongson (Vice-Chairperson); IPP Doc Boy Bernabe (Treasurer); PP Bobot Ramos (Legal Counsel); IPP Ador Tolentino (Corporate Secretary); PDG Romy Cruz; PDG Herman Gamboa; PDG Boyet Limon; CP Ernie Sanchez; PP Rene Aquino; PP Baby Vale; PP Joel Altea; PP Fed Sapitan; IPP Art Cabrera; and IPP Mel de Leon (Members); Parañaque City Mayor Jun Bernabe (Honorary Chairman).      The Rotary Homes Foundation Fun Run’s start line will be in front of Fitness First Westgate. Registration fee is P500.00 for adults and P400.00 for students. Everybody is invited to participate in this worthwhile project for a noble cause. All are encouraged to bring along their officemates, friends and relatives including kids who are all expected to have fun.
