X: AACC Decade of Excellence

The Ayala Alabang Camera Club (AACC) proudly celebrates ten glorious years of existence! To commemorate the celebration, AACC presents “A Decade of Excellence,” a photo exhibit from November 10 to 18, 2012 at the Designer’s Boulevard of Alabang Town Center, Muntinlupa City. Special guests will lead the ribbon cutting and opening program at 6PM on its first day.

This annual exhibit will showcase about a hundred exquisite images that reveal the Club members’ discerning eye for artistic details, not only of the obvious beauty we see all around us but also in what may appear to be, at first, ordinary and mundane. The theme of this year’s exihibit, “a decade of excellence,” challenged the AACC members to convey their innate, imaginative talent and seize rare, magical moments, extraordinary expressions, unusual gestures, picturesque landscapes, fascinating creatures or simply the entirety of our surroundings.

AACC is composed of serious hobbyists and professional photographers. In 2002, it was established as a non-stock, non-profit organization in 2002, and, since its inception, has held annual exhibits of the members’ finest photographic creations. Through its annual exhibits, the Club has consistently aimed to depict the Filipino ingenuity for art through the medium of photography.

The Club takes pride in having produced this year’s collection of varied images and being able to share them with the public. The men and women of the Ayala Alabang Camera Club express their gratitude to the major sponsors, donors and supporters, and their families, for making this year’s exhibit possible. As the Club ends a colorful yet prosperous decade with this exhibit, it looks forward to another decade of stimulating photographic opportunities and quests.
